The discussed fundraiser for International Chefs day at East point will not be going ahead as agreed by the committee. Further potential fundraisers discussed below. Proposed – Jason Wilkes Seconded – Roger Pearson
Arafura Catering Equipment will be paying for the postage of these out to members, up to 60 Copies, if this increases to more than 60 copies, we will revisit this. ACF NT will be paying for the purchase of the magazines.
Jason Wilkes mentioned the possibility of holding a Golf day for local chefs to get together. David Dunk mentioned that some Navy Chefs would be interested in getting involved.
A suggestion of ‘Christmas for the homeless’ was put on the table, where Chefs and sponsors get together and supply and cook Christmas for the homeless sometime in December.
NT Team came in third overall in the national finals, fantastic effort to the team, Tommy Jong, Jessica Cokanauto and Jason Wilkes.
World Skills was held and the results were Tommy Jong – First Jessica Cokanauto – Second Ben (Skycity) – Third Tommy Jong will be going to the national finals in May next year.
9. Welcome Kit for members A new welcome kit will be sent out to members upon renewal, this will contain, a badge, Certificate of membership, Welcome letter, membership card.
11. AGM The AGM was very successful, thank you to all of those who attended.
Bharat mentioned, on behalf of TY Lee, that Ty would like a balance sheet of financials for last year. No other business. Meeting Closed 18:10pm
