Presidium and Continental Directors On the final day of the WACS Congress the changes to presidium and the board of the organisation have been enacted. The new president of the organisation is Ferdinand E. Metz. He currently holds the post of president emeritus of the Culinary Institute of America and is a certified master chef. Edward. G Leonard has been sworn in as vice president. Edward is also a certified master chef and has held the office of president of the American Culinary Federation since 2001. The secretary general is now L. Edwin Brown, who is also an ambassador of the American Culinary Federation. Treasurer is unchanged as Norbert Schmidiger of Schweizer Kockverband and Dr. h. c. Siegfried Schaber is now an ambassador for WACS.

The new continental directors have also been elected as follows:
