Our goal is to pursue excelllence in the culinary arts through a process of continuous improvement of our standards and skills, by applying our knowledge with constant innovation and insight to the benefit of our members and stakeholders.

Our top prioity is the quality of our service to the members which result in being recognised as a leader in the culinary arts and the hospitality industry.

ABOUT ACF QLD

The Australian Culinary Federation (ACF) is a national organisation of chefs and hospitality personnel, represented by chapters in all states of Australia.

The ACF is an active member of the World Association of Cooks Societies (WACS). WACS is an organisation with 72 member countries representing about 8 million cooks and chefs worldwide

Members of ACF Queensland (ACF Qld) include, chefs and apprentice chefs, food and beverage manufacturers and personnel, hospitality retailers and business operators, sales representatives, hospitality employment and recruitment agencies, hospitality teachers and students and people who love good food and wine.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Promote excellence within the hospitality industry and allow for continuous improvement of industry standards and skills.

Provide our members and their guests with the opportunity to network and socialise with prominent industry personnel, whilst enjoying excellent food at great prices.

Invite chefs and hospitality businesses to display, demonstrate or promote products and services at our monthly meetings.

Host international events such as the 2005 WACS Asia Pacific Forum including, the Regional Final of the Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) Black Box Culinary Challenge and the International Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge.

Organise and conduct numerous cooking competitions including the Queensland, National and International Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge, Salon Culinaire, Nestle Golden Chefs Hat and Tasting Gold Coast.

Send teams of chefs to national and international cooking competitions such as The National Nestle Golden Chefs Hat, Tasting Australia and the Culinary Olympics.

Inform and update our members with hospitality information, news, events, competitions, trade shows and business opportunities.
