Shane is the Executive Chef at

Wilson's Boathouse Melbourne,

He has a long history of competition which has seen him represent Australia both as an individual and team basis,

He is three times winner of the Oceanafest Restaurant of Champions

and has captained this team in

New Zealand ,Thailand and Singapore scoring gold medals in each competition.

Shane captained then 2008 Culinary Olympics team, where the team  were placed 9th in the world in the overall placings.

Executive Chef of the Brisbane Club,

Shannon is the recent winner of the Australian B'ocuse D'Or

and he will represent Australia

in the 2013 world competition, he has represented Australia in New Zealand,Thailand and Singapore with this team and was an integral part of the 2008 team.

He brings a lot of experience to the team and his determination and passion is an example to the younger members of the team.

Daniel is the Executive Chef of EQ Cafe & Lounge in Canberra,

He joined the team in 2009 after a long competitive career representing the ACT ,


He has amassed a fine collection of gold medals in regional and national competitions and has competed in this team in

New Zealand and Singapore.

This is his first Culinary Olympics

Stephen is the Chef proprietor of Clarke's of north beach in Perth W.A. one of Perth's top Restaurants,

which has won the title of Australia's best BYO restaurant's,and last year was awarded two hats.

A consecutive three time winner of WA's chef of the year ,

he joined the team in 2009 and has been a consistent member since,

He has competed in Singapore and Thailand with this team and this will be his first Culinary Olympics

Stephen is originally from Great Britain where he headed the kitchens of

Holkham Hall for the Earl of Leicester.

and last year was invited to cook for the Queen on her Australian visit.

Royston is a Chef De Partie in the three Michelin Star Guy Savoy restaurant in Singapore.

The captain of Australia's Junior team which was placed sixth in the 2008 Culinary Olympics,

He has moved to the senior ranks and has competed with this team in New Zealand and Singapore.

He is a strong competitor with culinary skills beyond his year's

this is his first Culinary Olympics as a senior.

Patrick is the Executive Sous Chef of the Joondalup Resort Hotel in Perth,Western Australia.

He has represented WA at both junior and senior level and after two years working sojourn in Sheffield's Michelin star restaurant "The Vicarage" he returned to Perth and has captained the state team in several competitions.

This is his first Culinary Olympics

This was a successful dinner for the Australian Culinary Team in Canberra at the press club 2 weeks ago. 110 guests including representatives from our major sponsors enjoyed the following menu, accompanied by Serafino Wines.
