The Australian Culinary Federation - Victoria (ACFV) and I welcome you to our website.

We are an association that binds all professionals together, and represent Chefs, Cooks, Apprentices and Trainees.

Our aim is to facilitate social and professional contact between members, as well as provide training and development opportunities. We are dedicated to maintaining and improving the culinary standards of global cuisine as well as continue professional development through culinary competitions.

The ACF board has been trying to unify all members in Australia to be officially recognised as members of the ACF in addition to your state or territory and provide a central registrar and membership management. Australia win gold medal

Australia win gold medal
the Australian culinary team won a gold medal today in Korea, along with Canada, Hong Kong & Singapore for the hot kitchen competition. The winner to be announced Saturday night.
The team consisted of Shannon Kellam, Shane Keighley, Dan Hurley, Royston Clarke, and Matt McBain.
A surprise Australian team who committed to compete because some of the international teams were unable to fulfill their obligations at the last minute.the team came home with a bronze medal. Pat O'brien & Peter Tischhauser team management dusted off their chef jackets to support our junior team members who were  attending the junior chefs forum Matthew Wynn, Cameron Wetton, Stewart Wesson.

2nd gold for Australian team in Korea competing in the buffet section. Peter Wright ACF president who is attending the congress said the buffet looked magnificent

Australia placed 2nd in hot kitchen comp in korea,pipped at the post by world champions singapore.team manager pat obrien is extremely happy with the result the team has been named gourmet champions for their buffet in an innovative new style of competition. congrats to all
