Mission statement

ACF Victoria is the united voice of professional chefs, apprentices and food related persons, an association which warrants its existence for this alone and should be there for us all to belong to as professionals, as per our motto "Being Professional is being involved".

With your support the ACF Victoria can only get stronger which can only be of benefit to us all.

Background

The Australian Guild of Professional Cooks Ltd was formed in 1974 by a group of chefs who wanted to help develop links between people/professionals with a mutual interest.

In 1999 it was renamed A.C.F. Victoria as a member of the Australian Culinary Federation which is is now in all states.

Over the last 25 years the A.G.P.C/A.C.F. Vic have been the main drive within the food and hospitality industry.

Without the hard work of its committee members, corporate sponsors and members' events such as award winning apprentice and service teams at the Culinary Olympics, cottage competitions and training, product development and not forgetting the hosting of the World Congress in 1998, which brought the world leading chefs to Melbourne.
