box-hillThe Victorian committee continued building its relationships with TAFE welcoming Box Hill Institute who join William Angliss Institute, Victoria University, NMIT, Sunraysia Institute and the Gordon as supporters of the ACF and the industry.

Box Hill Institute’s Centre for Hospitality and Tourism Studies has established itself as an excellent choice for training in Bakery, Cookery, Events, Hospitality, Tourism and Patisserie, producing renowned chefs such as, George Colambaris, Guy Grossi, Tobie Puttock and Curtis Stone just to name a few.

Centre Manager, Ms Debra Traill is very excited about this new partnership. Ms Traill and the centre’s team strive to deliver quality training and provide the opportunity for students to participate in both regional and national competitions as part of their skill development.

Ms Traill also believes the importance of the Institute’s involvement with both Industry and community where students can regularly participate in charity and industry events giving them practical skills and exposure to a workplace environment.

Vice President Hamish Rodwell presented the Certificate of Membership to Ms Traill - a framed chefs jacket, which will proudly hang on the wall of fame in the centre.
