It is with great sadness that this week The Australian Culinary Federation & chefs around the world mourn the loss of two Black Hat Chefs John Mangan Miller OAM, the first Australian chef to be honoured with the award & Gary Farrell, the youngest recipient of the award.

John was a friend & mentor to many Australian Chefs & inspired all the young cooks who walked through the doors of William Angliss

Gary was the Quintessential Chef, Australian Team Captain for 8 years, great friend & a fantastic motivator to all those involved in competitions.
