The ACFSQ Camping Weekend is a three-day experience for ACF South-East Queensland members, set in Queensland’s Granite Belt wine region. Based at The Folly Truffles in Ballandean, the weekend is built around seasonal food, local wine, campfire cooking, and time with fellow food professionals in one of the state’s best winter landscapes.

WEEKEND ITINERARY

Friday 31 July
Meet for dinner at Ballandean Pub from 6:30pm (at own cost), followed by campfire dessert and mulled wine back at camp.

Saturday 1 August
Breakfast at your leisure, then a self-drive morning tour of local wineries and food trails. Late lunch at Sippers Barrel Room (at own cost). The afternoon brings the ACFSQ Truffle Hunt at The Folly (3:30pm to 5:30pm — separate ticket required). Saturday evening is a campfire gourmet truffle dinner: the main protein and truffle are sponsored, and camp guests supplement with snacks, vegetables and desserts. BYO drinks.

Sunday 2 August
Truffle brunch before pack down. The main protein and truffle are sponsored — camp guests supplement with eggs, bread and condiments. The event organiser will be in touch with all camping guests to coordinate contributions for the communal meals.

Book Campsite 1 directly via The Folly Truffles website. Campsite costs are at your own expense.

Register here to confirm your place on the weekend so the event organiser can contact you ahead of time.
